Marisa Casey is the Director of Events and Catering Sales for Georgetown Events. In this role, she is responsible for generating new business for catering and, most importantly, maintaining existing customer relationships. Additionally, she is responsible for the flawless coordination and execution of events for our many restaurants and event venues. Marisa works closely with her team and restaurant managers to deliver quality catering to customers across the DC area and Nantucket, MA. Her goal is to always exceed her customer’s expectations.
Marisa grew up in Lexington, KY and attended Vanderbilt University. She has been in DC for ten years and lives in Glover Park with her husband, Pat, her daughter, Parker, and her Westie, Piper.
Emma Carty is the Director of Events and Catering Operations for Georgetown Events. In this role, she is responsible for answering all catering and event inquiries for Millies, Due South, Jetties, Surfside, and The Bullpen. Once she receives the inquiry she develops, produces and delivers every inquiry from the proposal right up to transport. She delivers catering that is on time, within the client’s budget, and exceeds the client’s expectations. She works closely with her team; Marisa, Madeline, and Lane, to make sure all events are well planned and organized, until completion.
Emma was born and raised in the DMV area and attended the University of Elon, where she acquired a degree in Sport and Event Management and Leadership. In her free time she likes to travel, appreciate the outdoors, be a foodie, and enjoy family time.
Madeline is one of two Events and Catering Sales Associates at Georgetown Events. In this role she is responsible for introducing the ever-growing DC area to all the Due South, Millie’s, Jetties, Surfside, and the Bullpen have to offer. From office lunches to rehearsal dinners, Madeline works closely with her team to provide enjoyable experiences with excellent service.
Madeline was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She recently graduated from Sewanee with a degree in Psychology and Business. Madeline enjoys cooking, running, and live music.
Lane is one of two Events and Catering Sales Associates at Georgetown Events. She works to convert leads into catering and event sales for Due South, Millie’s, Jetties, Surfside, and The Bullpen. Lane works closely with her team to book group events and catering services through building strong customer relationships and providing great customer service.
Lane is a Raleigh, North Carolina native. She attended Elon University, where she majored in Strategic Communications with a minor in Sport and Event Management. Lane was a member of the Elon Women’s Lacrosse team during her time at school. She enjoys spending time with friends, staying active, and exploring DC.
Meghan Kehoe is the Marketing Manager for Georgetown Events. Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Meghan attended Georgetown Visitation for high school and the University of South Carolina’s school of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism for undergrad. Meghan worked in the Events & Catering industry for several years before pursuing a degree from the Washington School of Photography. Her career in Food and Restaurant Photography introduced Meghan to Georgetown Events where she now works closely with our Catering and Events team.
As Marketing Manager, Meghan is responsible for developing strategies to create awareness of our restaurants and event venues while engaging our customers and gaining new clients. She is also responsible for producing creative and meaningful content to share across our many restaurants’ social media platforms. Her goal is to best tell Georgetown Events’ unique story through communication and marketing solutions, strategic influencer partnerships, and local brand connections.
