Marisa Casey is the Chief Executive Officer of Georgetown Events. Previously the Director of Sales and Marketing, Marisa achieved significant sales growth in events and catering while honing her skills in restaurant operations. Marisa's passion for all facets of the company - from her fellow employees to the happy customers - makes her the perfect fit for the executive role.
Marisa grew up in Lexington, KY and attended Vanderbilt University. She has been in DC since 2008 and lives in Glover Park with her husband, Pat, their children, Parker and Cameron, and their Westie, Piper.
Meghan Kehoe is the Director of Marketing for Georgetown Events. Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Meghan attended Georgetown Visitation for high school and the University of South Carolina’s school of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism for undergrad. Meghan worked in the Events & Catering industry for several years before pursuing a degree from the Washington School of Photography. Her career in Food and Restaurant Photography introduced Meghan to Georgetown Events where she now works closely with the Catering and Events team.
As Director of Marketing, Meghan is responsible for developing strategies to create awareness of our restaurants and event venues while engaging our customers and gaining new clients. She is also responsible for producing creative and meaningful content to share across our many restaurants’ social media platforms. Her goal is to best tell Georgetown Events’ unique story through communication and marketing solutions, strategic influencer partnerships, and local brand connections.
Kate joined the Georgetown Events team in April of 2019 as the Manager of Events and Sales.
Previously, Kate helped run local business JRINK where she built their events and wholesale department and created their sister company, Apothékary. Prior to that, Kate managed the events team at POLITICO and has worked on large scale projects such as the White House Correspondents Dinner and the 2016 National Conventions.
Kate resides in Arlington with her fiancé and their pup Waffles. When not at work you can find her at any of the DC concert venues or ice cream stores.
Camilla is the Catering and Events Operations Manager and joined the team in June 2019. She handles day-to-day catering operations for all of the restaurants as well as a portion of the private events in both Washington, DC and on Nantucket.
Camilla is from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and attended the University of Georgia - GO DAWGS! After graduating in 2013, she and her now-husband moved to Zaragoza, Spain and taught English for 2 years. During that time, they traveled extensively and and have continued to make adventuring to new places a major focus of their lives. Once back stateside, Camilla pursued a career in sales and ultimately her love of food and event management led her to find a way to combine the two here at Georgetown Events.
She now lives just across the river in Arlington with her husband, their kitty Trooper, and whatever plants she can manage to keep alive.
